Good, might of been better if there were different difficulties as in harder difficulties= more colors and more slots or something. Over all though good, challenging game.
I don't know how. But i Beat the mastermind in 2 turns/15sec. I'm not going to lie. complete luck. but its awesome anyways!
Its pretty good. but some of your answers are pretty far off. Like the question with best weapon, and you put crowbar. That would be true, but if a zombie outbreak occurs, you want to get away from towns and places where technology, and therefor, humans would be. The crowbar would be useless in practical survival. An axe or hatchet would be better. Then on the question of best place to go of a zombie outbreak, its another practicality issue. Defensive-wise a house is best, because if it is two-story, you can destroy the stairs, and zombies can't climb, but think about the average house? Not stocked with any firearms or dense metal weaponry that could bash a skull in, and most houses don't carry alot of food because they go shopping every week or so. The best place would be a small grocery store because it has usually 2 entrances, employee and shopper, it has plenty of food, and practical things such as toothpaste and toilet paper, it is large enough that it can house any other survivors looking for care, and usually there are ladders to get on the roof incase of an emergency. There were also a few other questions that were off, I just stated the two I noticed the most. But overall, good questionare. I got a Z+, I think thats good? But maybe do some rethinking on some of the questions for a completely legit zombie survival quiz.
Good game but,
I thought it was funny that you gave the main character a really Japanese name when nothing else in the game was Japanese. Besides that, it was a good game.
So everyone is saying its just like DDR, when its obviously more like guitar hero, with the guitar neck-ish style backround, and the name "Riff Off" which incurs there is a guitar invovled.
One thing I didn't like about it, was that the note-landing part of it didnt really match up with any parts of the songs, so it was really confusing, and difficult, because your ears are hearing one thing, and your eyes are seeing another.
Also, there was no artistic ability in the game. There was a blank backround, a score meter thingy, and a brown parrallelagram. That really didnt make it any better.
Also, whenever you missed a note, a flash of red took over the entire screen, so you couldnt see upcoming notes, and when you had a blur of keys to press, just ended up messing you up more, the red flash would have worked, if you woulda had it so everything flashed, except the playing screen.
Also, your music selection wasn't very original, or broad. I could tell it was all music you liked. Also, I've heard these songs all on newgrounds before. Maybe if you do this again, cover different styles of music, dont be afraid to add songs that have vocals. Also while on music, it would be nice to have whole song rounds, instead of fading out, that was pretty lame.
Finally, a better button system would have been nice, like what i mean, instead of a line to press then keys down, maybe a box, so that when people see it, they feel they have more time to press the keys down. and instead of overlapped 8 notes in a small area, it would be better to have a different space for each keys, have them next to each other, and in the colors green red yellow and blue, to furthermore copy guitar hero.
and dont say you didn't try to copy guitar hero, because you did. And no offense, you did a pretty bad job at it. Im sorry, but this game wasnt good at all.
Have you ever played the online game, Tatics Arena Online? Which, ironically, was also submitted to Newgrounds. If so, then you realized that you basically copied that game, but just made different graphics. It normally wouldn't be that big of a deal, but all the people praise you for making such a great game, when all you did was COPY ANOTHER PERSON'S IDEA. Not cool.
Even though you did copy it though, the graphics were decent, and the sound matched the movements and actions, so props for your programming. Now, all you need to do is think of your own ideas! Good luck with that.
I like gladiator games, and flash games, so right off the bat I loved this game, a few things i noticed tho, was that the game was short (i read that its just a preview though), the game glitched here, there, almost everywhere, and there was no save(which i also read was in the works).
A few things that could be cool could be mini game sort of things, where you and a computer ally fight off lions, or hoards of something else, or maybe have magic attacks, or ranged, so you could focus on a class of some sort. Also, maybe have multi enemy situations where its like 1v2 or 1v1v1 so its more "arena" style. Just some thoughts.
Over all, great work, and you are definantly getting a 5 from me.

It was a good recreation of the old parachute game, but I liked the old one better, good work though.

You took out all the aspecs of the game that made it the game we all love. The first field command was so simple, it was fun. THere were circles for people, and squares for tanks. Now u tried to give people bodies, add cenimatics, and u took out the actual real-time aspec of it.
The gun shots looked crappy, the blood squirts looked worst, and unlike the others, for some odd reason, instead of actually showing the fight between the people, u cut it all off, and added some typing. You took the whole simplistic visual adventure out.
Also... the mini game took alot out of it, pointless, and really only took up file space.
And also... for the first half of it, there was no fighting, just retreating, retreating, retreating, you took the whole COMBAT part out of it. It isnt field command if there isnt a battle field
And it still gets me you took the whole combat showing part. becuase i really loved that part of it, now its just reading, and clicking, no visuals.. that disapoints me. I really hope you stop mass producing a good game, and make one really good one like the first.

I liked it alot. Good solid gameplay, decent difficutly, and fun concept. The air level was easy though. I liked the whole avoid landmasses thing. It was fun. The boss was a little easy tho. And Tox1n, he specified toxic, and even if it was you that made those animations, he gave everyone equal recognition, so quit bitching.
great but one little problem.
the game was great. the only problem i could find was that there is a short delay in the jump, its not a major problem, but annoying in later levels when a jump is critical for survival.
